Lifeline Drop-in

Lifeline is a drop-in where we hope to create an atmosphere in which current and past clients have an opportunity to relax over coffee and chat to friendly volunteers who offer a listening ear and can often point them to relevant service providers.

Melksham Foodbank has realised that in addition to the provision of food to those in need, our clients require the opportunity of someone to chat to every Monday afternoon and Thursday morning.

Sometimes a chat and a cup of tea make the world of difference to someone in need. The knowledge that they are not alone, that there are others who are in the same position, can alleviate the sense of isolation.

The lifeline drop in centre operates on:

Mondays: 1.30 to 3.30pm except Bank Holidays

Thursdays: 10.00 to 12.00 noon

At Melksham Baptist Church (Old Broughton Road entrance), Old

Broughton Road, Melksham, SN12 8BX, (double blue doors opposite Lidl vehicle entrance)

Our team of volunteers are always there to lend a listening ear to those who want it.
